Jurnal Hukum Ekonomi Syariah (JHESy) is an open-access scholarly journal that publishes studies in Islamic law, fiqh muamalah, and sharia economics. The journal accepts original research articles, theoretical or conceptual articles, and case studies within its focus and scope.

The journal covers the following areas:

• Contemporary Sharia Economic Law: Studies of regulations and policies in sharia economic law, as well as sharia economic dispute resolution through litigation, including proceedings in religious courts, and non-litigation methods, including arbitration and mediation.
• Fiqh Muamalah: Studies of Islamic commercial law, contract law (akad), and the application of sharia principles and compliance in business transactions, including digital transactions.
• Sharia Economic Ecosystem: Studies of Islamic financial institutions, sharia management, halal industry governance, Islamic capital markets, Islamic financial technology, and the management of zakat, infaq, sadaqah, and waqf.

All manuscripts must demonstrate a clear connection to Islamic law, fiqh muamalah, or sharia economics.
